Start from your hotel in Bali in the early morning to catch a flight to Labuan Bajo, in the West of Flores island. After landing at the Quaint Airport, transfer to the local pier, where a local, yet well equipped boat awaits.

The trip to Komodo island takes around 4 hours each way, and there is plenty of time to take pictures of the scenery enroute. Passing by small island communities and fishing villages, you are bound to feel like Robinson Crosoe as you make your way to the famous home of these pre-historic reptiles.

Stopping enroute for some snorkeling in the pristine waters around the island, see all kinds of undersea creatures in crystal clear waters.

Spend the night on board the boat in a sheltered bay before disembarking early in the morning for a walk through the forest where you are bound to come face to face with the Komodo. Weighing in at around 150 kg, these fierce lizards survive on a meat only diet, and are capable of running, swimming and climbing!

Take the boat back to Labuan Bajo in time for your late afternoon flight back to Bali.
